JOB SUMMARY : Responsible for the implementation of technology within the hospital and direct the work of hospital systems and support other computer- related workers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

SYSTEM AND SERVICES ADMINISTRATION :

  • Installs, configures, and optimizes operating systems.
  • Installs, tests, and documents security patches.
  • Develops, tests, documents, implements and enhances backup and recovery procedures, including schedule coordination with the Job Scheduling staff.
  • Develops, documents, implements and enhances applications change-management procedures and activities.
  • Trains and adds user's access to the system
  • Provides back-up and restores database
  • Gathers and analyzes modules and problems to be submitted to system provider for appropriate action
  • Applies instruction given by the system provider
  • Uploads updated system

ADMINISTRATIVE APPLICATIONS MONITORING AND SUPPORT :

  • Installs and documents installation process, configures and documents configuration decisions, and assists with testing of middleware and applications as directed.
  • Monitors the performance of systems, services and the network. Notes trends and initiates action when necessary.
  • Identifies, analyzes, and resolves/troubleshoots job scheduling problems. Escalates as necessary to ensure resolution.
  • Coordinates planned and unplanned applications administration activities with business units in order to minimize or eliminate impact on business processes.

NETWORKING :

  • Installs and configures data, and cable and hardware, e.g. Workgroup switch, gateway or functional server, using established procedures.
  • Troubleshoots and performs corrective measures to resolve or avoid problems with data or networks, typically within a building environment.
  • Reviews existing documentation, configuration files, equipment manuals, including online references, as necessary, to determine root cause and corrective action.
  • Corrective action may include replacement or reconfiguration of hardware, software, firm ware or physical network connections. Corrective action may also involve the coordination or collaboration with other personnel, including contract resources.
  • With guidance from or consultation with senior staff, works with IT peers or personnel in other departments or company operations, external vendors, service providers or institutions, to collect requirements, complete projects, or resolve problems.
  • With guidance from or consultation with senior staff, performs design of workgroup networks or component parts of enterprise networks consistent with established design and implementation standards or procedures.
  • Monitors network performance with appropriate hardware and software tools.
  • Enforces established security procedures to mitigate or isolate the impact of network intrusions, attacks or other incidents from other resources.
  • Install and terminate various types of standard, low-voltage communications cabling,

e.g., CAT5 UTP, CAT6 UTP, CATV coax, single and multi-mode fiber.

  • Update network, process or customer documentation.
  • Coordinate project efforts or work tasks that may include integrating the work of other IT professional staff, contractors and suppliers.
  • With guidance from or consultation with senior staff, manage projects of limited scope, e.g. workgroup network implementation, to include the supervision or coordination of peers.
  • Conducts site surveys and collects customer requirements related to standard network design, implementation and problem resolution efforts.
  • Troubleshooting of Network Configuration, Structuring cable connections and reconnecting cables for transferring purposes.

OTHERS :

  • Responsible for surfing & downloading files, anti-virus updates, system updates, and other official documents from the internet.
  • Creates presentation for demonstrations and lectures.
  • Designs and layouts tarpaulin ads for CDH.
  • Operates the equipment used for the presentation (e.g. Laptop, LCD projector, etc), if needed.
  • Maintains cleanliness and orderliness in the workplace.
  • Cleaning internal & external parts of the computer.
  • Does other task that may be assigned from time to time.
  • Undertakes the 5S in the workplace.
  • Undertakes the following Safety standards:
  • Works in accordance with accepted safety practices and standards established by the employer in compliance with the provisions of this Standards.
  • Reports unsafe conditions and practices to the supervisor by making suggestions for correction or removal of accidental hazards.
  • Cooperates actively with the Health and Safety Committee.
  • Assist government agencies in the conduct of health and safety inspection or other.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php13, Php14,000.00 per month
