Job Summary:

The Financial Accounting Associate performs essential accounting functions that support the company's financial operations, guided by the Alagang Mahalaga way of life. The role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant financial recording, reporting, and analysis.

Depending on the assigned specialization, the associate may support treasury, reporting, planning and analysis, receivables, or payables, all with the shared objective of maintaining financial integrity and supporting sound business decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Record and reconcile financial transactions in the ERP system in compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  2. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, schedules, and analyses to support management decision-making.
  3. Monitor accounts and perform regular reconciliations to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial records.
  4. Investigate and resolve discrepancies, variances, and inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Safeguard confidential financial data and maintain proper documentation to provide complete and reliable audit trails.
  6. Assist in internal and external audit activities by providing necessary reports, schedules, and supporting documents.
  7. Perform other related tasks or special projects as may be assigned from time to time.

Job Qualifications:

  1. Must be a graduate of BS Accountancy, or equivalent.
  2. With at least 5 years work experience in financial accounting.
  3. Must possesses results-oriented and communication skills.
  4. Adept in a customer-centric environment.
  5. Knowledge of financial transaction workflows using ERP systems and MS Office
