We're Hiring: Senior Thermal Engineer (Thermal & Liquid Cooling Focus)

Advanced Energy Philippines (Eastwood City, Pasig) is growing our Tech Core Thermal Team

We're looking for a Senior Thermal Engineer who is passionate about solving advanced thermal challenges for high-power electronics.

Key Responsibilities:


• Perform advanced thermal simulations (FloTHERM, Ansys Icepak, or equivalent).


• Conduct airflow, thermal, and acoustic testing in wind tunnels and chambers.


• Develop and validate hand calculations for heat transfer and thermal resistance networks.


• Lead liquid cooling system design & analysis (cold plates, liquid-cooled busbars, manifolds, system-level thermal solutions).


• Correlate simulation vs. test data for accuracy and design confidence.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (EE, ME, Systems) to deliver reliable power solutions.


• Mentor and train junior engineers on simulation methods and best practices.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical, Thermal, or Aerospace Engineering.


• 4+ years of hands-on thermal design & CFD experience.


• Strong background in heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and liquid cooling solutions.


• Experience with chamber/wind tunnel testing and performance correlation.


• Familiarity with datacenter, telecom, or high-power PSU designs is a plus.
