Welder

The Welder is responsible for performing welding techniques needed in the repairs and manufacturing of cylinders

QUALIFICATIONS

Education : At least high school graduate

Graduate Studies : N/A

Licensure Examinations : TESDA NCII

General Skills :

• Must be knowledgeable in mechanical and manual welding techniques
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Physically fit
• Team player
• Welds and fabricates assorted types of materials or accessories

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Grind all cylinders prior to installation of cylinder parts
• Perform welding or repair of all cylinders
• Removal damaged footrings and collar
• Installation of new footrings and collars
• Removal of sharp objects that were left during the removal of old footrings and collars
• Removal of body dent
• Ensure the correctness in the setting of cylinder parts
• Ensure that the cylinders installed with new parts are not rejected
• Coordinate with superior of the correct batches to be repaired
• Record and endorse to the leadman the finish product
• Other task may be assigned
