What you'll be doing

  • Coaching and mentoring agile teams to adopt and continuously improve Scrum practices
  • Facilitating Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives and reviews
  • Removing impediments and obstacles to team productivity and collaborating with stakeholders to resolve issues
  • Optimizing team workflows and processes to increase efficiency and deliver high-quality software
  • Providing progress updates and reporting on key metrics to project stakeholders
  • Collaborating with product owners and the wider business to align project delivery with strategic objectives
  • Mentoring and supporting junior Scrum Masters to develop their skills and capabilities

What we're looking for

  • 8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or agile project manager, preferably within the insurance industry
  • Strong understanding of Scrum framework and agile methodologies, with the ability to effectively coach teams
  • Excellent facilitation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes
  • Proven track record of optimizing team processes and delivery for high-performing agile teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels
  • Experience in leading and mentoring junior Scrum Masters or agile practitioners
  • Familiarity with insurance industry regulations, processes and technologies
