This can be made clearer by way of example. For the financial services platform, the resulting ecosystem has the following participants:

• Financial institutions such as rural bank and non-bank financial institutions (coops, lenders, etc.)
• Customers of these financial institutions
• Financial service providers that leverage the platform such as lenders and insurers
• Technology providers that build solutions on top of the platform

Role Overview

The Microservices Java Developer will work in translating user stories, build, design and maintain the reusable code using java and other relevant technologies.

What you will do

• Translate user stories into a scalable microservices that align with business and technical requirements
• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable microservices code using java, or other relevant technologies.
• Develop Services that interact with other systems vis REST APIs
• Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of individual services and the overall system
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs across distributed services. and devise robust solutions to address them
• Maintain high standards of code quality, organization, and automation, including adherence to microservices best practices
• Conduct Unit and Integration testing to ensure service platform as designed and integrate smoothly with other components
• Collaborate with DevSecOps and other engineering teams to deploy, monitor and maintain services in cloud environments (e.g. AWS)
• Implement containerization strategies to streamline development and deployment
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing to foster continuous improvement and team growth

Qualifications:

• 3-5 Years of software development experience, preferably with Java
• Minimum of 1 Year experience with containerization technologies
• Minimum of 1 Year experience implementing microservices
• 3+ Years of experience working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
• Working Knowledge with API Design, service orchestration and debugging performance
• Good Communication and collaboration skills in Agile Development Environments
• Contract: 4 Months Project-Base, with a possibility to extend depending on the project needs
