High school diploma or GED required; technical certification in welding or pipefitting preferred.
3+ years of welding experience, with specific expertise in sanitary (hygienic) TIG welding.
Proficient in welding stainless steel piping and components per sanitary standards (e.g., 3-A, ASME BPE).
Skilled in orbital welding and manual TIG welding on thin-wall tubing.
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, and weld maps.
Familiarity with clean-in-place (CIP) systems, passivation, and hygienic design principles.
Strong attention to detail to ensure clean, smooth, and contaminant-free welds.
Certification in sanitary welding or ASME/AWS welding standards is a plus.
