  • JOB SUMMARY : Responsible in assisting and transporting patients from ER to ward, diagnostic procedure, patient for discharge and ensure safety.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  1. Assist in the admission transfer and discharge of patient.

  2. Assist the nurses in turning and lifting the patient.

  3. Checking of oxygen, ensure safety by placing straps and oxygen braces.

  4. Bringing of Oxygen to patient and placing of No smoking signs, braces and straps.

  5. Assist the nurses during the procedures.

  6. Cleaning of nurses' station, cleaning of Chart holders in the nurses' stations routinely.

  7. Bringing of specimen to laboratory.

  8. Bringing of oxygen tanks to the patients room as ordered and collecting all empty tanks from the room going down to stock room. Submit the names of the patient to respiratory department for encoding.

  9. Endorsement of patient for Operation, for Ultrasound, X-rays, and other procedures.

  10. Respond to call of patients and nurses.

  11. Assist in code blue.

  12. Does other task that may be assigned from time to time.

  13. Undertakes the 5S in the workplace.

  14. Undertakes the following Safety standards:

a. Works in accordance with accepted safety practices and standards established by the employer in compliance with the provisions of this Standards.

b. Reports unsafe conditions and practices to the supervisor by making suggestions for correction or removal of accidental hazards.

c. Cooperates actively with the Health and Safety Committee.

d. Assist government agencies in the conduct of health and safety inspection or other.
