Primary Function: Responsible to lead equipment improvement initiatives that align our manufacturing machines with Smart Factory standards and Industry 4.0 practices. The Equipment Development Engineer will evaluate, upgrade, and optimize production equipment to support automation, connectivity, and data-driven operations. Working closely with process engineers, technicians, and IT teams, this role will ensure our machines are fully integrated with Smart Factory systems to enhance productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.

Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related fieldNot a requirement but an advantage (At least 2 - 3 years work experience as equipment engineering or maintenance engineering in a Semiconductor or Electronics Company)Hands-on experience with machine upgrades, PLC programming, or automation integration.Familiarity with Smart Factory concepts and Industry 4.0 technologiesProficiency in equipment troubleshooting and reliability engineering techniques.Effective project management and vendor negotiation skills.Keen to detail; work with minimum supervision, with good analytical and critical thinking.
