We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Branch Pharmacist to lead our Cebu branch operations. This role is unique in combining comprehensive pharmaceutical duties with active sales engagement, driving both health outcomes and business growth. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe and accurate dispensing of medications, provide expert patient counseling, manage inventory, and proactively contribute to the branch's sales targets and overall success.

Duties and Responsibilities:

I. Pharmaceutical Operations & Patient Care:

  • Accurately and safely dispense prescription medications and over-the-counter products in accordance with professional standards and all relevant Philippine drug laws (e.g., Generics Act).
  • Provide comprehensive patient counseling on medication usage, potential side effects, drug interactions, and proper storage.
  • Conduct medication therapy management, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  • Oversee and manage the branch's pharmaceutical inventory, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and ensuring proper storage conditions.
  • Implement and maintain proper record-keeping for all dispensed medications, controlled substances, and other pharmacy operations.

  • Ensure the branch's strict compliance with all local and national health regulations, DOH guidelines, and company policies.

  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, resolving issues efficiently.

II. Sales & Business Development:

  • Actively promote pharmaceutical products and services to walk-in clients, achieving individual and branch sales targets.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell relevant products based on patient needs and prescriptions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, fostering loyalty and repeat business.
  • Collaborate with the management team to implement sales strategies and promotional activities.
  • Monitor sales performance, identify trends, and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the overall profitability and growth of the Cebu branch.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BSpH) Degree.

· Valid and Current PRC Pharmacist License (RPh).

· A newly licensed Registered Pharmacist (RPh) is welcome to apply; prior experience in a retail setting is an advantage.

· A strong aptitude for sales and customer engagement.

· Excellent moral character and strong work ethic, with a commitment to patient safety and ethical practice.

· Exceptional customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· In-depth knowledge of the Generics Act and other relevant Philippine drug laws.

· Proficiency in inventory management and record-keeping.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

· Preferably resident of Cebu.
