PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION
Responsible for preparation and baking of varieties of desserts, decorations and presentations that meets the highest possible quality and standard and on timely manner. Managing the Pastry materials par stocks acceptable level, equipment status and Pastry kitchen's operation in compliant with HACCP standards and Company P&P's. Facilitation and implementation of menu standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- To carry out daily and weekly activities such as, temperature checks, food labeling/ dating, storage, scheduled kitchen cleaning and assigned tasks
- Participation on managing required food costs, implementation of kitchen hygiene, personal grooming and safety standards and its overall objectives
- Monitoring kitchen tools and equipment status for proper documentations and processing
- Monitoring bakery food/materials par stocks level and inventories
- Carrying out and implementation of opening and closing procedures of kitchen operation
- Team player, fully aware on time management and menu planning
- Can train and lead peers
- Reports and works from Head Pastry Chef directives
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Can work under pressure and extra miles on peak days and holidays, with minimum supervision
- Can develop bakery menu items to top quality and standards
- Knowledgeable and skillful in his/her craft and in Bakery kitchen's operation and standards
REQUIREMENT
- Pastry Culinary Experience from any related institution at the same position for over 2 years.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Culinary certificate from an institution or any related industry
- Flexible, adaptable, efficient and willing to upgrade
