Aircon Technician

Position : Aircon Technician

An Aircon Technician maintains, and repairs air conditioning systems, diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Key duties include performing routine maintenance like cleaning and filter replacement, troubleshooting issues, handling refrigerants responsibly, and providing customer service. This role requires expertise in various systems, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance:

Conduct routine inspections, cleaning, and component replacement to ensure systems operate efficiently.
- Repair & Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and repair system malfunctions, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant issues.
- Customer Service:

Communicate clearly with clients, explain technical issues, and address concerns promptly.
- Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of service calls, maintenance activities, and repairs performed.
- Safety Compliance:

Adhere to safety and industry standards during all service and installation tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience as an aircon technician is often required.
• Education: A high school diploma or vocational training, sometimes with certifications (e.g., NCII in RAC), is beneficial.
• Certifications: Relevant technical certifications, such as from TESDA, are advantageous, but not required.
