About the Role

We're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a cross-functional team building the core technology behind Muvr's logistics ecosystem.

You'll oversee engineers working on dispatching, pricing, routing, integrations, and automation systems, ensuring our platform scales reliably as we expand across cities and service types.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can balance architecture, execution, and people development — all while building for speed and trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a distributed engineering team (backend, frontend, QA, DevOps, ML).
  • Design and maintain core systems powering orders, routing, pricing, and communication.
  • Own uptime, performance, and scalability across all microservices.
  • Collaborate with Product and Ops to align technical roadmaps with operational goals.
  • Drive agile development practices, sprint planning, and code review culture.
  • Mentor engineers and support career growth, engagement, and performance.
  • Coordinate incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortems.
  • Partner with AI/ML teams on predictive routing, ETA, and pricing logic.
  • Maintain strong collaboration with Security and Compliance teams.
Qualifications
  • Have 6+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in team leadership.
  • Understand microservice architectures, API-first design, and event-driven systems.
  • Are hands-on with , Python, Go, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL.
  • Thrive in fast-moving, cross-functional environments.
  • Can translate product goals into scalable, reliable technical systems.
  • Have experience leading hybrid or remote teams across time zones.
Bonus Points For
  • Background in logistics, marketplace, or mobility tech (e.g., Uber, DoorDash, Lalamove).
  • Experience with AI or ML-driven operations (dispatching, pricing, routing).
  • Knowledge of data privacy, API security, or compliance frameworks.
  • Previous work in a startup or scaling tech company.
