Key Accountabilities

Guest Experience

• Provides basic information to customers about the Casino and Hotel in a positive way.
• Offer assistance to players who do not know how to play the game.
• Be aware of the customer's needs and render assistance within his capacity.
• Ensures that customers are protected against theft and fraud from staff or other guests
• Establishes good rapport and professional relationships with important patrons and be able to communicate with such players.
• Ensures that complaints are referred to appropriate departments or persons concerned.
• Observes mode of play and recommends qualified players for membership upgrade or complimentary rating to the Pit Manager.
• Promotes all facilities of Stotsenberg Leisure Park and Hotel Corporation, in a positive way.
• Ensures that all member ratings are accurately recorded/encoded and that all members rating are encoded and reported to the Pit Manager as to average bets and total win/loss

Productivity and Performance

• Should at all times inform the Pit Manager of drop, win/loss of tables and players and in particular, high action play, large buy-ins or cash outs of players.
• Monitors gaming action and makes necessary adjustments to pit operations with creativity that does not hinder proficiency and customer needs.
• Ensures that the assets and integrity of the company are maintained and the financial interests are protected from fraud or theft from staff or customers.
• Assists in the opening and closing of tables.
• Responsible for the condition and upkeep of the gaming pit.
• Maintains maximum efficiency of the gaming operations on a daily basis.
• Ensures that all games are conducted with integrity and in accordance with the standard and policies and procedures and the rules of the games, and that all security procedures are enforced.
• Helps resolve interpersonal and interdepartmental misunderstandings.
• Ensures that change of playing cards is done expeditiously and accurately.
• Records gaming results and the major winner or losers during the shift.
• Ensures that chip transactions (Fill and Credit) are checked before affixing signatures.
• Adds the cumulative total of the drop meter and checks the running total from time to time to ensure the accuracy of all buy-ins.
• Ensures that junket groups and major players are monitored accurately.
• Randomly inspect gaming equipment's, structures or materials to identify the cause of errors, defects and other problems.
• Confirms buy-ins and ensures the accuracy of the amount recorded.
• Immediately inform the Pit Manager about incidents in the gaming pit for them to settle or rectify.
• Checks the completeness of the table equipment and gaming accessories.
• Ensures that dealers deal the games according to the policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as may be designated from time to time

• Clark Freeport Zone: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Casino Dealer: 1 year (Required)
