GIS Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Geographical Information System (GIS) Analyst to support our organization in managing, analyzing, and visualizing spatial data. The ideal candidate will have expertise in GIS software, spatial analysis, and mapping techniques to assist in decision-making and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, analyze, and interpret geographical data from multiple sources.
• Develop and maintain GIS databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Create detailed maps, reports, and visualizations to support planning and decision-making.
• Conduct spatial analysis, modeling, and geostatistical evaluations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GIS solutions into business processes.
• Utilize programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL) and automation tools to enhance GIS workflows.
• Ensure compliance with data standards and best practices for GIS data management.
• Provide technical support and training on GIS applications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience with GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar).
• Proficiency in spatial analysis, cartography, and geospatial databases.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, R) and GIS automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Php120, Php155,000.00 per month
