Instrument Man

The Instrument Man operates and maintains survey instruments, assisting surveyors with data collection and layout for construction and land development projects.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the upkeep and operation of various survey instruments and assists during survey activities in different stages of a project.
• Efficient and effective in collection of survey data to be utilized in preparing plans and reports.

Functions:

• Sets-up survey instruments to be used during survey
• Operates survey instruments and records data gathered during survey
• Anticipate where shots need to be taken without being told, and run topo and level rod efficiently
• Demonstrate the ability to care for instruments and ensure they are charged daily
• Conduct topographic, bathymetric, and layout survey.

Qualifications:

• Atleast High School graduate, vocational diploma, or college level
• Experience with survey instruments and equipment (i.e. Total station, Auto/Digital level, GPS/RTK instruments, Single beam echosounder)
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans
• Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing work environments

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php20, Php30,000.00 per month
