About the role
ALJAY AGRO-INDUSTRIAL SOLUTIONS INC. is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team in Santiago City, Isabela. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, training and development, and compliance. You will play a key role in shaping the culture and supporting the growth of our dynamic organization.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure efficient and effective people management
- Oversee the recruitment and on boarding of new employees, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and managing the hiring process
- Provide guidance and support to managers on employee-related matters, such as performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
- Administer employee benefits, including payroll, leave management, and healthcare plans
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations
- Identify and implement employee development and training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the workforce
- Foster a positive and inclusive work culture that promotes employee engagement and satisfaction
What we're looking for
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a HR management role with thorough knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and employment regulations.
- A background in the agriculture industry, manufacturing or industrial sector is considered an edge.
- With a strong yet professional presence, balanced by empathy and the ability to effectively collaborate with leaders and diverse individuals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels
- Possessing strong business acumen is a valuable advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and proactively
- Proficient in using HR software and technology to streamline HR processes
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
