Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Assist in diagnostic/therapeutic procedures and respond to emergencies.
  • Monitor patient condition through daily rounds, reporting symptoms and progress.
  • Maintain adherence to healthcare policies, safety protocols, infection control, and confidentiality.
  • Provide handover reports and collaborate with healthcare team members.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, flexibility in staffing, and compliance with work rules.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Reporting Structure

  • Reports to: Nurse Unit Manager/Assistant Nurse Unit Manager
  • Works with: Nurses, doctors, aides, clerks, medical staff, and utilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Diploma in Nursing with relevant experience.

Required Training/Skills

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • ECG Reading
  • Licensed Intravenous Therapist

Equipment Operated

  • Infusion pump, cardiac monitor, ECG machine, pulse oximeter, Kardex, BP apparatus
