Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Surface Preparation

  • Clean and prepare surfaces (e.g., concrete, wood) by sweeping, vacuuming, degreasing, or grinding.

  • Assist in patching cracks or holes with appropriate fillers.
  • Mask and tape edges and areas not to be coated.

  • Material Handling

  • Carry and organize tools, equipment, and materials at the job site.

  • Assist in mixing epoxy components (resin and hardener) following correct ratios and safety protocols.
  • Dispose of leftover materials and used containers properly.

  • During Application

  • Hand over tools like rollers, squeegees, and blowers to the applicator.

  • Help in pouring and spreading epoxy as directed.
  • Use rollers or brushes to help spread epoxy under supervision.
  • Assist with monitoring working time and curing process.

  • Post-Application

  • Help in cleaning tools and equipment immediately after use.

  • Assist in inspecting finished surfaces and correcting minor defects if needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area.
