Car Jockey

Responsibilities:

• Safely drive and park customer vehicles within the workshop, parking, or delivery areas.
• Perform initial intake checklist to document vehicle condition (scratches, dents, accessories, mileage, fuel level, etc.).
• Conduct pre-release inspection to ensure all requested services were completed and the vehicle is clean and ready.
• Ensure proper handling of customer property (seat covers, floor mats, steering covers).
• Support the Service Advisor in updating vehicle condition records.
• Assist in maintaining order and flow of vehicles in the service bays and parking area.
• Report any vehicle damage or irregularities immediately to the Service Advisor or Job Controller.
• Ensure keys are tagged, organized, and secured properly.
• Follow safety protocols while maneuvering vehicles in tight or crowded spaces.

Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must have a valid Professional driver's license (with restriction codes: 2, 3).
• Familiarity with driving both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Attention to detail and good observation skills.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle components and condition checklists is an advantage.
• Physically fit and comfortable with frequent walking and outdoor work.
• Trustworthy, responsible, and punctual.
