The HR Associate is responsible for promoting employee health, safety and wellbeing while supporting HR core functions.

Responsibilities

A. Occupational Safety and Health

  • Provide immediate medical attention and assist in implementing workplace health and safety programs and practices.
  • Respond promptly to workplace illnesses or injuries (if applicable).
  • Conduct regular health assessments and wellness programs.
  • Promote a culture of health and safety among employees.

B. Benefits Administration

  • Administer government mandated benefits and company sponsored-programs.
  • Handle health-related documentation for SSS, Philhealth and insurance claims.
  • Process employee enrollment, updates, and claims for health insurance (HMO).
  • Liaise with government agencies and third-party providers for compliance and benefits related matters.
  • Maintain and update employee benefit records and reports.
  • Provide first aid and emergency care to employees during work hours, if needed.
  • Coordinate annual physical examinations, vaccination drives, wellness programs.

C. Timekeeping

  • Process timekeeping and maintain updated leave balance of employees.

D. Employee Relations

  • Support HR Officer on development and communication of positive employee relations strategies and retention initiatives.

E. Organizational performance

  • Facilitate on-boarding process of all new hires
  • Facilitate employee offboarding
  • Process HR expense payments including HR expenses monitoring, vendor accreditation and monitoring of service agreements with 3rd party service providers.

Education/ Licenses/ Experiences Required: Registered nurse with at least 1 year HR related experience
