- Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures (e.g., X-rays, fluoroscopy) as ordered by licensed physicians.
- Position patients properly to obtain high-quality images with minimal radiation exposure.
- Ensure proper use, maintenance, and calibration of imaging equipment.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging logs.
- Apply radiation protection measures for patients, staff, and self in accordance with ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles.
- Provide clear instructions and support to patients during procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure accurate diagnosis.
- Monitor patient conditions during imaging procedures and respond to adverse reactions if needed.
- Follow hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control practices.
- Participate in quality assurance and continuing education programs.
