Job Title: Maintenance Plumber Job Summary

The Maintenance Plumber is responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems to ensure safe and efficient operation of water supply, drainage, and sanitation systems. The role involves diagnosing plumbing issues, performing preventive maintenance, and responding promptly to maintenance requests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment
  • Install and replace pipes, valves, fittings, faucets, toilets, and water heaters
  • Diagnose plumbing problems and determine appropriate repair solutions
  • Perform preventive maintenance to reduce system failures and downtime
  • Respond to emergency plumbing issues, including leaks and blockages
  • Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, safety regulations, and company standards
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams, contractors, and supervisors
  • Keep tools and work areas clean, safe, and organized

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience as a maintenance plumber or similar role
  • Relevant plumbing certification, license, or trade qualification
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materials
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues efficiently
  • Familiarity with local plumbing codes and safety regulations
