Job Summary:

The Driver/Technician is responsible for performing installation, repair, and maintenance of telecom lines and equipment while ensuring the safe and efficient transport of personnel, tools, and materials to assigned sites. The role requires both technical expertise and safe driving practices to support field operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Subscriber Line Installation (SLI) and Subscriber Line Repair (SLR) for telecom services.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair of telecom lines and related equipment.
  • Drive company vehicles to and from project sites, ensuring the safety of passengers and equipment.
  • Assist in loading and unloading of tools, cables, and materials needed for installation and repair.
  • Ensure proper documentation of daily activities, service reports, and site checklists.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness, proper condition, and report any mechanical issues promptly.
  • Follow all company safety protocols and traffic regulations at all times.
  • Coordinate with team leaders and supervisors for work assignments and scheduling.
