Qualification:

  • with SMAW/NC1 or NC2 certificate as a welder is a plus with Driver's license
  • Analytical thinking skills Interpersonal skills
  • Written and Oral communication skills
  • Time management skills Detail-oriented and can do multi task

Duties:

  • Perform welding repair of trucks as assigned
  • Receives Job Order, conduct actual assessment of the repair to be made and perform welding works as requested
  • Request for the necessary equipment as well as PPE to be used in the welding or fabrication to be done When done, inform the Chief Mechanic/Maintenance Supervisor of the job done for quality assessment and testing
  • Participate in all rescue operations for trucks outside the garage
  • Ensure safety practices every job assign
  • Accountable for the assign tools/equipment and report any damages found during equipment inspection
  • Required to assist other maintenance works assigned by maintenance supervisor
  • Conduct 5's before and after duty
  • Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time.
