Bonifacio Global Metro Manila, Philippines Philtech Full time ₱900,000 - ₱1,200,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and publish policy and procedural guidance on patch management and vulnerability remediation
  • Ensure all Infrastructure (OS, Database, Middleware, Network) & Application Owners are made aware of this patch management policy and procedures.
  • Review vulnerabilities. Identify the appropriate classification and prioritization of the remediation.
  • Review, identify and maintain software & firmware versions for all Safeway infrastructure, portfolio applications & network devices. Maintain a patch and deployment repository including key information such as patch level, deployment schedules, versions, lifecycle period, risk ranking, etc.
  • Coordinates with the Infosec and Product team in assessing and identifying the remediation to be deployed.
  • Develop Remediation Plan & Schedule
  • Communicate remediation details and schedule with various Devops Teams
  • Collaborate with the various teams for required resources or support whether for testing, deployment, or incident management.
  • Negotiate, plan and manage all remediation and patch deployment activities
  • Manage risks and resolves issues that affect remediation, patch deployment, scope, schedule and quality
  • Develop patch deployment strategies, runbooks, Implementation plan, etc.
  • Develop Monthly/Weekly Reporting
  • Collaborate with Infosec team pertaining to exception approvals.

Qualifications:

  • 4 year degree (Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or relational functional field) and/or equivalent combination of education or work experience.
  • With Vulnerability Management experience.
  • Experience with Tenable or any same tool is a plus.
  • With Patch Management experience is required with keen familiarity on policy and procedures.
  • Knowledgably and with end to end experience in patching IT Infrastructure component (OS, Database, Middleware, Network)
  • Strong knowledge of Project Management Methodology and Tools (e.g. MS Project, Visio, Agile, SDLC etc.) with a strong knowledge of Project Management Disciplines.
  • With Technical Project Coordination background.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong expectation management, influencing and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong ability to collaborate across various groups, build relationships and manage effectively in a matrix organization.
  • Strong ability to motivate teams and coach and train Patch analysts
  • Advanced knowledge of process evaluation and selection of products, tools, services and infrastructure components in line with an organization's business needs and architectural principles.
  • With technical background. Knowledgeable with Infrastructure Data Center terminologies is a must.
  • Strong Microsoft excel skills for data manipulation and report generation.
  • Strong presentation skills.
