HR Specialist

The Total Rewards Specialist (HR Specialist) is responsible for administering and coordinating all aspects of employee compensation, benefits, allowances, and reward programs for the Zamboanga business unit. This role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant processing of payroll-adjacent items, benefit enrollments, UTO (unit-to-owner) transactions, awards, bonuses, allowances, and other financial or non-financial rewards.

• Consolidate compensation reports across the Zambo BU to ensure complete and timely payroll alignment.
• Coordinate with Motorpool to obtain FMV (fair market value) pricing for available vehicles — ensuring employees receive correct and fair UTO valuations.

• Administer benefit-related operations including:

• Enrollment and cancellation of HMO memberships;

• Processing UTO requests in a timely manner;

• Managing UTO transfer of ownership requests so employees obtain full ownership of units as appropriate.

• Prepare bonus computations (e.g. "fishing bonus"), consolidate relevant data, and present in an easily accessible format for executive management inquiries.

• Validate meal and per diem submissions to ensure correct reimbursement and compliance with company policy.
• Support implementation of broader HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
• Maintain and organize all Total Rewards files

Education & Background

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2 years experience in HR benefits/compensation administration, payroll support, or Total Rewards operations.
