Food Technologist

Job Description:

What You'll Do:

• Perform chemical analysis of raw materials, finished goods, and general samples using classical and analytical equipment.
• Issue QC slips and sign Certificates of Analysis for approved finished goods.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding the quality control status of products.
• Conduct daily inspection and evaluation of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods, then interpret and report results.
• Operate analytical instruments such as FT-IR Spectrophotometer, GC, HPLC, UV/VIS Spectrophotometer, and TGA/DSC as needed.
• Manage laboratory supplies, ensure proper housekeeping, and maintain quality records.
• Participate in discussions and evaluations of non-conformances.
• Provide training on new test methods, analytical techniques, and QA systems when introduced.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of work experience in a similar capacity.
• Technical know-how in analytical instruments and chemical analysis.
• Good organizational and planning skills.
