About the role

At Lufthansa Technik Philippines, the Jr. Chemical Process Technician is responsible for maintaining and analyzing chemical solutions used in plating, cleaning, and fuel testing processes. The role ensures solution quality, supports safe chemical handling and disposal, and contributes to efficient, compliant, and safe laboratory operations. This position plays a key part in upholding technical standards critical to aircraft maintenance and safety.

What you'll be doing

  • Monitor and maintain plating and cleaning solution levels to meet quality standards.
  • Conduct chemical analysis and adjustments using standard procedures and formulas.
  • Prepare chemical solutions for surface treatment and crack testing.
  • Perform microbiological contamination testing on fuel as per aircraft maintenance manual.
  • Ensure proper disposal of chemical waste and compliance with safety protocols.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and cleanliness of the work area.
  • Support continuous improvement by executing tasks efficiently and safely.
  • Participate in safety assessments, incident investigations, and compliance activities.

What we are looking for

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Applied Science in Laboratory Technology or its equivalent rating
  • Licensed Chemical Technician
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
