Acetylene Welder

Duties and Responsibilities

• Use an oxy-acetylene torch and borax flux to weld and cut metals, including steel, aluminum, and other alloys.
• Apply borax to metal surfaces to prevent oxidation and improve weld quality.
• Set up and maintain welding equipment, including the oxy-acetylene torch and gas tanks.
• Inspect welds for strength, appearance, and conformance to specifications.
• Follow safety protocols and wear protective equipment (gloves, goggles, etc.) to ensure a safe work environment.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.

Welder Fabricator Requirements and Qualifications

• Prior experience welding, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with common welding tools and procedures, including acetylene welding, metal fabricating, grinding, and finishing metals
• Ability to stand, crouch, and occasionally lift heavy equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php Php700.00 per day

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Supplemental Pay:

• 13th month salary
• Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

• San Fernando, Pampanga: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Acetylene Welder: 1 year (Preferred)
