Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:

  • Defines and executes the operational strategy for cybersecurity services in the Philippines, aligned with global objectives.

  • Drives innovation in threat detection, incident response, and security monitoring.

  • Identifies emerging risks and implements proactive measures to strengthen cyber resilience.

  • Operational Management:

  • Oversees the day-to-day operations of the SOC, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Manages budgets, resource allocation, and performance metrics for operational excellence.

  • Implements best practices for incident management and escalation protocols.

  • Team Leadership:

  • Leads, mentors, and develops a team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Promotes collaboration across technical and business units to enhance service delivery.

  • Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Acts as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on cybersecurity operations.

  • Builds strong relationships with clients, partners, and regulatory bodies to maintain trust and compliance.

  • Continuous Improvement:

  • Monitors industry trends and integrates advanced technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

  • Conducts regular audits and reviews to ensure adherence to global security standards.

The Successful Applicant
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in cybersecurity operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven expertise in managing SOCs and large-scale security programmes.
  • Strong knowledge of threat intelligence, incident response, and regulatory compliance in APAC.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to travel within the region as required.

Preferred Certifications

  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
  • CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
  • ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Auditor
  • GIAC certifications (e.g., GCIH, GCIA)
