Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shopify Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing Shopify websites to deliver a high-quality user experience and drive business growth. This role requires a strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, Shopify's platform (including Shopify Plus), and the ability to implement custom solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify stores, themes, and apps.
  • Design and implement responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid.
  • Integrate third-party apps and APIs to extend Shopify functionality.
  • Optimize website performance, page speed, and mobile responsiveness.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across Shopify stores.
  • Collaborate with design, marketing, and content teams to align store functionality with business goals.
  • Create custom features or sections based on unique business needs.
  • Conduct A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
  • Maintain version control using Git or similar tools.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify features, trends, and best practices.
Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience developing and managing Shopify stores.
  • Proficiency in Shopify Liquid templating language.
  • Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Experience with Shopify APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Understanding of SEO, site performance optimization, and e-commerce UX/UI principles.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git, GitHub).
  • Experience with Shopify Plus (preferred but not required).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with headless commerce (Shopify Hydrogen or similar frameworks).
  • Knowledge of backend technologies , GraphQL, etc.).
  • Familiarity with payment gateways, fulfillment, and logistics integrations.
  • Experience in using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch for design collaboration.
  • Previous work in digital marketing, conversion optimization, or analytics.
