- Dispense prescription and non-prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Review prescriptions for completeness, dosage accuracy, potential drug interactions, and contraindications.
- Provide patient counseling on proper medication use, possible side effects, and storage.
- Maintain accurate and updated patient medication records.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and professional standards.
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication therapy management.
- Monitor and report adverse drug reactions or medication errors.
- Manage and maintain proper stock levels of pharmaceutical supplies.
- Conduct periodic inventory checks and ensure proper storage and handling of medicines.
- Prepare and submit reports required by management and regulatory bodies.
- Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated with current pharmaceutical practices.
