Estimator – Biohazard

About the Role

Biohazard & Restoration is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. The Estimator will play a critical role in preparing accurate, detailed, and timely estimates for restoration and biohazard projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Xactimate and proven success in writing comprehensive estimates that ensure project compliance, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and detailed project estimates for restoration and biohazard jobs.
• Utilize Xactimate software to generate cost estimates, including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Review project scopes and documentation to ensure accurate pricing.
• Collaborate with project managers, adjusters, and clients to finalize estimates.
• Ensure estimates comply with industry standards, regulations, and insurance requirements.
• Maintain organized records of estimates, revisions, and project files.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in restoration/biohazard estimating.
• Strong proficiency in Xactimate (required).
• In-depth knowledge of restoration, remediation, and biohazard industry standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote work environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with insurance carriers and adjusters.
• Knowledge of local/state restoration and biohazard regulations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
