The role

  1. Two (2) Boiler Inspector (am & pm shift)
  2. Two (2) Mechanical Inspector (am & pm shift)
  3. Two (2) Electrical Inspectors (am & pm shift)

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Inspector with a background in Thermal Power Plant and Boiler Turbine experience to join our team in Davao. In this contract role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and safety of our client's operations, leveraging your technical expertise and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive inspections of power plant equipment, components, and processes to verify compliance with safety standards and technical specifications
  • Identify and report any non-conformities or areas for improvement, recommending corrective actions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality control measures and best practices
  • Maintain detailed inspection records and documentation to support regulatory compliance
  • Provide technical guidance and training to plant personnel on quality assurance procedures
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry regulations, codes, and standards

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a QA/QC Inspector in the power generation industry, with a focus on Thermal Power Plants and Boiler Turbines
  • Proven track record of successfully conducting inspections, identifying and resolving quality issues
  • Strong technical knowledge of power plant equipment, materials, and testing procedures
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently
  • Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
