Summary:

The Company Driver / Messenger provides various transportation services. His responsibilities includes collecting and delivering various packages/documents, ensure proper office housekeeping, cleaning of company vehicle and property-maintained vehicle maintenance, and maintaining a travel log to record work hours and travel time.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure proper office housekeeping
  • Run general errands, such as but not limited to, bills payment, bank transactions, collection activities, pick up and/or deliver packages or documents.
  • Ensure proper documentation of activities by providing official receipts and other documents required for liquidation.
  • Keep accurate logs and complete paperwork for tasks or activities
  • Keeping the company vehicle clean and properly maintained by performing regular washing, cleaning, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Adjusting travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction
  • Use navigation apps to determine the best route
  • Other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the immediate head

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Candidate must be at least Highschool or Vocational course graduate

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of work experience as a Messenger or Company Driver

Skills & Competencies:

  • Must have a professional driver's license
  • Must be familiar with Metro Manila routes
  • Sound knowledge of road safety and regulations
  • Must be able to utilize maps, GPS systems and card manuals
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks within given time frames
  • Must have clean driving record
  • Effective communication skills
  • Punctual, honest, and reliable
  • Good planning and decision-making abilities
