JOB QUALIFICATION:

  • With at least 12 months of sea service experience as ML officer
  • Onboard within the last 5 years.
  • Holder of IMO Model Course 6.09 certificate.
  • Preferably with experience in maritime operations with a focus on IGF-compliant vessels.
  • Preferably with knowledge of IGF-compliant vessel operations, safety measures, and relevant regulations such as IMO and SOLAS.

JOB DESCRIPTION:


•Course Delivery

- Performs pre-delivery preparation.

- Facilitates attendance checking, verifies authenticity of participant's identity and confirms entry requirements of participant.

- Conducts course delivery as planned.

- Demonstrates proficient course delivery methodologies and techniques.

- Conducts course delivery observation.

•Assessment

- Prepares assessment materials

- Conducts assessment and accomplishes the approved assessment instruments of the course.

- Performs marking/checking of assessment.

- Performs assessment observation

•Instructor Development

- Complies with the requirements of the Instructor Competency Development Program

- Coordinates with the assigned mentor.

•Administration and Reporting

- Submits required reports relative to course quality, training performance, training equipment, and infrastructure.

- Participates in procurement, fabrication and/or maintenance of respective ownership learning resources as assigned by the Immediate Superior.

- Prepares the Monthly Instructor Workload report.

- Performs other job-related tasks as may be assigned by the Immediate

Onsite

Office Location: United Marine Training Center, 2120 Leon Guinto St. Malate, Manila

Schedule is Monday to Saturday.

The schedule of the Instructor depends on the teaching load.

Shifts may vary from examples below:

1st Shift - 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM

2nd Shift - 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Normal Shift - 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Saturday Shift - 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM

SALARY RATE: _ NEGOTIABLE_

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php40, Php50,000.00 per month
