Accounting Officer

Responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies, and supporting the Finance Department in day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, ledgers, and reports.
  • Monitor and reconcile accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger balances.
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense reports in compliance with company procedures.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare tax filings, statutory reports, and government remittances.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
  • Maintain accurate records of fixed assets, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant laws/regulations.
  • Coordinate with other departments to resolve accounting-related issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of Philippine taxation and statutory compliance.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
