Occupational Health Nurse

Location: Gapan City, Nueva Ecija

Requirements

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the Philippines.
• Member of OHNAP (Occupational Health Nurses Association of the Philippines) or equivalent professional nursing organization.
• With valid BOSH (Basic Occupational Safety and Health) for Nurses or similar occupational health training/certification.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in occupational health nursing, project sites, construction, or industrial setting (fresh graduates with relevant training may also apply).
• Knowledge of DOLE–OHSC (Occupational Safety and Health Center) standards and workplace health programs.
• Must have up-to-date certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid Training (Red Cross or equivalent).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide immediate medical care and first aid treatment for work-related injuries and illnesses.
• Conduct daily health monitoring of employees (e.g., blood pressure, temperature checks, health assessments).
• Maintain accurate medical and health records of employees, including injury and illness logs.
• Administer prescribed medications and basic medical interventions as required.
• Implement occupational health and safety programs in compliance with DOLE and DOH standards.
• Conduct health education, wellness programs, and preventive health campaigns on-site.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of occupational health reports to management and regulatory agencies.
• Ensure proper maintenance of clinic equipment, medicines, and medical supplies.
• Support the Safety Officer in health-related risk assessments, accident investigations, and emergency preparedness.
• Coordinate with hospitals, clinics, and other medical institutions for referrals and emergencies.
• Promote a safe and healthy workplace environment in line with project health and safety policies.
