Service Advisor

A Service Advisor serves as the vital link between customers and the automotive service team, ensuring a seamless and satisfactory vehicle maintenance or repair experience. This role is pivotal in both customer service and operational efficiency within automotive service centers.

Qualifications:

• College graduate of Automotive course or Mechanical Engineering

• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in automotive workshops or as service advisor.

• Excellent communication skills and customer service

• Basic understanding of vehicle systems and maintenance procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

· Customer Interaction: Greet customers, listen to their vehicle concerns, and document issues accurately.

· Service Recommendations: Assess vehicle needs and recommend appropriate services or repairs, ensuring customers are informed about maintenance options.

· Cost Estimation & Authorization: Provide transparent cost estimates, explain the scope of work, and obtain customer approval before proceeding with services.

· Scheduling & Workflow Management: Organize service appointments, coordinate with technicians, and manage the service workflow to optimize efficiency.

· Communication: Maintain clear and ongoing communication with customers regarding service progress, additional findings, and completion timelines.

· Upselling Services: Identify opportunities to offer additional services or products that enhance vehicle performance and customer satisfaction.

· Post-Service Follow-Up: Ensure customer satisfaction by following up after services are completed and addressing any further concerns.

· Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions for future reference.
