Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

    • 3-5 years of professional experience as a Mid to Senior Business Analyst
    • Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
    • Industry: eCommerce, Fintech, Insurtech- Had BA experience writing and gathering requirements for customer platforms like websites and apps or Martech
    • Skilled in writing clear user stories and maintaining comprehensive project documentation
    • Experienced in stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration
    • Hands-on experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, execution, and coordination
    • Proficient in documentation, reporting, and process improvement
    • Solid background in Quality Assurance (QA), including test case creation, test planning, and end-to-end testing
    • Capable of creating and executing test plans and performing unit and functional testing
    • Experienced in conducting workshops and facilitating training session

Job Description:

1. Requirements Gathering & Analysis

  • Collaborate with the PO to elicit, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders.

  • Translate high-level business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements.

  • Conduct gap analysis between current state and desired future state of the customer platform.

2. Documentation & User Stories

  • Prepare user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows in alignment with Agile methodology.

  • Maintain and update the product backlog in coordination with the PO.

  • Create supporting artifacts such as business requirement documents (BRD), use cases, and wireframes.

3. Stakeholder Communication

  • Act as a liaison between business units, development teams, and the PO.

  • Facilitate workshops, requirement review sessions, and sprint planning meetings.

  • Ensure stakeholder expectations are managed and aligned with product goals.

4. Data Analysis & Insights

  • Analyze customer data and platform usage to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

  • Support PO in defining KPIs and success metrics for platform enhancements.

5. Testing & Validation

  • Assist in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by preparing test scenarios and validating deliverables against requirements.

  • Document defects and coordinate resolution with development teams.

6. Continuous Improvement

  • Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities for the customer platform.

  • Monitor post-release performance and gather feedback for future iterations.
