Overview:

An Aesthetician is a licensed skincare professional who provides a range of beauty and wellness treatments to improve the health and appearance of clients' skin. The role involves assessing skin conditions, recommending appropriate treatments, and performing various services such as facials, hair removal, and makeup application. Aestheticians often work in spas, salons, dermatology clinics, or medical aesthetic practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform skincare treatments including facials, exfoliation, peels, and masks.
• Analyze clients' skin conditions to recommend customized skincare regimens.
• Provide hair removal services such as waxing, threading, or laser treatments (if certified).
• Offer makeup application and skincare product recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms and tools in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Educate clients on at-home skincare routines and products.
• Keep detailed records of treatments, client progress, and product usage.
• Stay updated on the latest skincare technologies, trends, and techniques.
• Promote retail skincare products and spa services to meet sales goals.
• Collaborate with other professionals such as dermatologists, nurses, or massage therapists when applicable.

Qualifications:

• State license or certification as an Aesthetician (required).
• Proven experience in skincare treatments and client care.
• Knowledge of skincare products, ingredients, and contraindications.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain a hygienic workspace.
• Sales or product recommendation experience preferred.
