• Implement and manage macOS security measures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other cyber threats.


• Configure and maintain the pf firewall to ensure robust network security and compliance with organizational policies.


• Utilize JAMF Pro for macOS device management, focusing on security configurations and compliance monitoring.


• Deploy and manage Microsoft Defender for Endpoint to provide advanced threat protection and endpoint security.


• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate potential risks.


• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices for macOS environments.


• Investigate and respond to security incidents, providing detailed analysis and remediation plans.


• Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration of security measures across all systems.


• Experience with network access technologies implemented on macOS: VPN, Cloud Access Security Brokers, Conditional Access, MFA


• Stay updated on the latest macOS security trends, threats, and technologies to continuously improve our security posture.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.


• Bachelor's degree qualification is essential for this position.


• Minimum of 7 years of experience in macOS architecture and administration with a focus on Security.


• 7-10 years of cybersecurity experience is required.


• Proven experience in macOS security principles and best practices.


• Strong knowledge of pf firewall configuration and management.


• Proficiency with JAMF Pro for device management and security compliance.


• Experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint or similar endpoint protection solutions.


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:


• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation of security tasks.


• Familiarity with other security tools and frameworks.


• Experience with mac Endpoints integrated in MS Azure environment
