Senior Software Engineer

Kudosity is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) based in the Philippines. This role blends deep technical expertise with architectural leadership, enabling you to shape, build, and scale high-impact systems that support our product vision and power our growth. You'll play a pivotal role across the full development lifecycle - from design and development through to deployment, optimisation, and continuous improvement.

Skills and Experience

• Strong experience in a back-end language. We use Golang.
• Solid understanding and experience with React and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, such as GCP Compute, AWS EC2, or S3.
• Proficient in building and integrating with RESTful and gRPC APIs, using tools like Postman for testing and documentation.
• Broad exposure to supporting technologies like message queues (RabbitMQ, SQS) and databases (Postgres, MongoDB, Redis).
• Practical experience working in Agile teams, contributing to fast-paced and iterative software development.
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks and a commitment to writing testable, maintainable code.
• Comfortable with standard engineering tools including Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Jira.
• Strong communicator, capable of capturing and sharing ideas clearly through architectural diagrams, API specifications, and acceptance criteria.

• Lead end-to-end development efforts across design, build, deployment, and beyond
• Own architectural decisions for complex systems and ensures scalable, reliable design.
• Design and maintain high-performance, well-documented APIs.
• Drive comprehensive testing strategies and lead root-cause analysis of critical bugs.
• Continuously raise the bar for code quality, performance, and reliability.
• Tackle ambiguous problems and break them into elegant, innovative solutions.
• Develop new methodologies and algorithms to solve challenging engineering problems.
• Prioritise impact and feasibility while balancing speed and technical rigour.
• Write clear, reusable documentation for internal and cross-team use.
• Bridge technical and non-technical teams with clear, compelling communication.
• Make technical decisions with a clear line of sight to customer, product goals and business outcomes.
• Thrive in a fast-moving environment, adapting to change with resilience and clarity.
