Reports To: Restaurant Supervisor / Assistant Restaurant Manager / Assistant General Manager / General Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Food Runner plays a vital role in ensuring seamless communication between the kitchen and the dining area. You will be responsible for delivering dishes to guests efficiently, accurately, and with a sense of urgency and professionalism. As a key part of the guest experience, you must ensure that food arrives promptly, correctly, and in perfect presentation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Food Delivery & Guest Service

  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of food orders from the kitchen to guests' tables.
  • Confirm each dish against the order ticket before delivery to ensure correctness.
  • Clearly describe dishes upon delivery when necessary, especially to support guest inquiries.
  • Communicate efficiently with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.

Support Kitchen & Service Teams

  • Coordinate with chefs and kitchen staff for dish readiness.
  • Assist in expediting food at the pass, garnishing when needed, and organizing plated dishes.
  • Return soiled dishes and trays to the dishwashing station quickly and safely.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization at the service station and food pass area.

Guest Interaction & Standards

  • Uphold a friendly, professional, and polished demeanor when facing guests.
  • Anticipate guest needs and relay any special requests or issues to the Server or Supervisor immediately.
  • Handle guest feedback calmly and escalate concerns as appropriate.

Brand Consistency & Safety

  • Follow all company service standards and grooming protocols at all times.
  • Handle all food trays with care to maintain the quality and presentation of dishes.
  • Ensure all allergen or dietary concern requests are clearly communicated and handled.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least Senior High School graduate or relevant F&B service training preferred.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced or upscale restaurant is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Good physical stamina to carry trays and stand for long periods.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure with a calm and positive attitude.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

  • Accuracy and timeliness in food delivery
  • Adherence to service protocols and guest interaction etiquette
  • Cleanliness and organization of the food pass and service area
  • Effective coordination with kitchen and service staff

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php40, Php45,000.00 per month
