Clients: Primarily US-based, mostly in healthcare and social services

Work Setup: On-site, Davao Finance Center, SP Dacudao Loop, Davao City

Schedule:

  • Full-Time: 12:00 AM – 9:00 AM, Tuesday to Saturday (PHT)

Note: Hours may occasionally shift to align with client needs across different U.S. time zones. Advance notice will be provided.

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Associate to join our Human Resources Operations (HRO) team. This role is integral in supporting day-to-day HR functions, including recruitment, workforce credentialing, employee training, payroll, benefits administration, and compliance recordkeeping.

This role is a valuable opportunity to advance your HR career and strengthen your English communication skills through daily collaboration with U.S. clients.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, adaptable, and able to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment Support – Source candidates, conduct initial screenings (phone/virtual screening), and coordinate interviews.
  • Workforce Credentialing – Verify and maintain employee licenses, certifications, and credentials (background checks, health screenings, etc.).
  • Training & Development – Create training materials and assessments, coordinate training sessions, track attendance and performance.
  • HR Administration & Recordkeeping – Keep employee files accurate, updated, and compliant with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Documentation & Reporting – Prepare and organize HR documents and reports for audits, compliance, and internal/external reporting.
  • Payroll Support – Assist with payroll preparation to ensure accurate and timely salary and bonus disbursement.
  • Benefits Administration – Provide support with enrollment, updates, and employee inquiries.
  • Performance Review Coordination – Schedule and organize performance evaluations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • At least 1 year of HR support experience, preferably in a BPO or service-oriented setting, OR
  • A combination of relevant coursework, internships, or practical experience will also be considered.
  • Experience in payroll, benefits, recruitment, and HR compliance is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Able to work independently or in a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of discretion when handling confidential information.

Recent graduates, OJTs, and undergraduates with strong work ethics, resourcefulness, attention to detail, and proven organizational/project skills are welcome to apply.
