The Customer Service Representative – PHRN is responsible for providing high-quality support to patients, families, and healthcare staff within a hospital setting. This role ensures that patient inquiries are handled efficiently, concerns are addressed with professionalism, and services are delivered in alignment with PHRN standards. The representative acts as a knowledgeable resource, helping patients navigate hospital processes while maintaining a compassionate and patient-centered approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for patient inquiries, concerns, and service requests.
- Provide timely and accurate information regarding hospital services, procedures, billing, appointments, and PHRN-related processes.
- Assist patients and families in navigating hospital departments, scheduling needs, and care coordination.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
- Document patient interactions, service issues, and resolutions in accordance with hospital policies.
- Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure patient needs are met promptly.
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments or supervisors when needed.
- Support service recovery efforts to maintain patient satisfaction and uphold service excellence standards.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with hospital and PHRN guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with hospital protocols, patient service standards, and communication best practices.
Qualifications
- PHRN PRC license required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a hospital setting (patient services, nursing support, administrative, or customer-facing roles preferred).
- Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle high-volume interactions with professionalism and patience.
- Proficient in hospital systems, scheduling platforms, and basic computer applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and hospital operations is an advantage.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to Php30,000.00 per month
