Position Title: Baker

Department: Kitchen / Production

Reports To: Head Baker / Pastry Chef / Kitchen Manager

Job Summary

The Baker is responsible for preparing, baking, and presenting high-quality bread, pastries, and baked products in accordance with company standards. The role ensures consistency, food safety compliance, and timely production to support daily operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to approved recipes and standards
  • Measure, weigh, and mix ingredients accurately
  • Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers safely and efficiently
  • Monitor baking processes to ensure proper texture, color, and quality
  • Decorate and finish baked products as required
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area and equipment
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards at all times
  • Assist in inventory checking of baking ingredients and supplies
  • Minimize waste and report any production issues to the supervisor
  • Assist in developing new products or improving existing recipes when needed
  • Perform other tasks related to baking operations as assigned

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Baker or in a similar role (experience in a commercial kitchen preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Physically fit and able to work long hours, early mornings, or shifts
  • Team-oriented, reliable, and detail-oriented
  • Able to assign in Commonwealth QC
  • Can start ASAP

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php16, Php19,000.00 per month
