Job Summary:

The Audio Visual (AV) Staff is responsible for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting audio, video, lighting, and other multimedia systems used in events, meetings, presentations, and performances. The role requires technical knowledge, customer service skills, and attention to detail to ensure seamless AV experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and break down AV equipment such as microphones, projectors, speakers, video displays, mixing consoles, and lighting systems.

· Operate AV systems during live events, conferences, webinars, and meetings.

· Conduct sound checks and ensure proper acoustics and video quality.

· Coordinate with event organizers, speakers, and performers to meet technical needs.

· Troubleshoot and resolve AV issues quickly to minimize disruptions.

· Maintain, store, and perform routine checks on AV equipment to ensure functionality.

· Keep inventory of AV equipment and report any missing or damaged items.

· Assist in the integration of new AV technologies and provide input on equipment upgrades.

· Provide basic user training and support for AV systems

· Prior experience in AV setup and operations is preferred.

· Knowledge of AV systems, including microphones, video conferencing tools, projectors, and audio mixers.

· Familiarity with video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex).

· Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.

· Good communication and customer service skills.

· ability to lift and carry AV equipment (up to 50 lbs.) and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, holidays as needed.
