We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Sales and Marketing Officer to join our dynamic team at Grand City Hotels Inc' in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for supporting our sales and marketing strategies to drive growth and visibility for our hotel brand. What you'll be doing

  • Assisting with the development and implementation of sales and marketing plans to promote our hotel services and offerings
  • Coordinating promotional activities, events, and campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive bookings
  • Press and event activations as needed
  • Maintaining and updating our website, social media channels, and other digital marketing platforms
  • Creating social media content videos reels for customer engagement
  • Intermediate video editing skills are required to create engaging social media content reels for customer engagement (use of canva, capcut, instagram, facebook or tiktok are a plus)
  • Use of AI for Captions creation & Brand story is a plus
  • Conducting market research and analysing data to identify trends and opportunities for growth (Trend analysis & reporting)
  • Providing support to the sales team, including preparing presentations, generating leads, and following up on inquiries
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and consistent brand image
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and best practices to inform our marketing strategies

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Minimum 1 years of experience in a sales / catering or marketing role, preferably within the hospitality industry
  • While hospitality industry experience is preferred, candidates with sales or marketing experience from other industries will be considered
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and collaborate with team members
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks
  • Proficiency in using digital marketing tools and platforms, such as CRM software, social media, and website management
  • Candidates should demonstrate basic social media platform proficiency as a minimum requirement for digital marketing responsibilities
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
  • Proactive, creative, and adaptable, with a keen eye for detail
  • Advanced Use of Trello, Canva and capcut is preferred
